Pat Guay, our founding CEO and the creative mind behind our proprietary Transit Clip^™ was exposed to public transit’s realities from a young age. His grandfather was a tramway conductor in the early to mid-1900s, and his father is a retired bus driver and subway conductor from Société de Transport de Montréal. In addition to spending countless childhood summer days riding on his dad’s bus, Pat grew up extensively immersed in his forefathers’ public transit tales and experiences - both inspiring and cautionary.

These narratives, combined with his mom’s daily challenges as a short (4’10’’) commuter, ignited his early awareness of public transit’s overlooked health, safety, and accessibility shortfalls.

Pat’s own share of public transit moments, including falls, injuries, near misses, standing-room acrobatics, and hand contacts with worrisome matters, then solidified his unyielding commitment to resolve these critical issues. For all riders.
